More information on November plane crash

The Airbus company has sent a message to airlines which use the Airbus 320 about maintenance or re-painting. The Air NZ Airbus 320 which crashed in France had just been repainted in Air NZ colours because it had been used by a German airline for two years. It is possible that the flight sensors had been painted or taped over. The flight sensors give the plane information about height and speed. However, the CEO of Air New Zealand said that they don’t really know yet what caused the crash.

The last body has now been found and will be returned to New Zealand next week. Four other bodies were returned to New Zealand for burial last week. The bodies of the two German pilots had also been found earlier.
