This notice is for people who live in New Zealand. If you know you will be in New Zealand for at least one year, you might like to join a book discussion group to improve your English.
Groups consist of 8 to 12 people. They all read the same book and meet once a month to discuss it. The Book Discussion Scheme (BDS) supplies book and questions.
People with good English who can read a book in the original may join a group with native English speakers. People who have an intermediate level of English may prefer to join a group with easier books.
