Doodle4Google NZ

Have you seen the doodle on Google New Zealand today? It was designed by a 12-year old boy Deyvi Wilton. He comes from Bolivia but he now lives in Christchurch.

His design won the Doodle4Google competition. The theme for the doodle was “If I was an explorer, I would …” His doodle shows him on his bike going along a road (that’s the E of GOOGLE). Behind him are the Southern Alps, those magnificent mountains he can see from Christchurch. The G looks like a waterfall and the L is the native cabbage tree. They are very common in New Zealand. And the second G is made up of two kiwis.
